New mustang release ????
A couple of months ago I posted something about a poss. release of a mustang GT500 However I put GTR on my post and got chastised because some said that was 2014 and they won't be out again. They were right to an extent. Now they have a tentative car show release of a GT500...

Evidence of a Mustang even more menacing than the current Shelby GT350 is now rolling around Dearborn. The folks over at Mustang6G.com have published a spy video of what could possibly be the 2018 Shelby GT500.
Early rumors from trusted sources tell us that this car will feature a supercharged cross-plane crank (not the GT350's flat-plane) version of the 5.2-liter V8 out of the GT350. We’re also told it will have a 2.6-liter Eaton blower feeding a total output of about 750 hp. Previous ideas of it possibly being turbocharged are now out the window, as the video doesn’t show any evidence of the whistles and whooshes we’d expect to hear.
Code-named “Predator,” the test mule appears to resemble a GT350R in every way. It has the carbon-fiber wheels and the same spoiler and body lines as the naturally aspirated Voodoo, but its maw is completely concealed. Our best guess is Ford has redesigned the frontal area of the car to allow for better cooling and more air flow to feed the hungry supercharger under the hood.
But Wait There's More
This is what a GT350 track day gone bad looks like
This unlucky guy managed to find the breaking point of his new GT350. Autoblog found Joe Charles’ unfortunate story on Facebook of how his Shelby GT350 went ...
There’s evidence of Ford moving to upgrade the engine in the GT350 now as well, so there’s every chance this particular car could be sporting a more powerful atmospheric engine as opposed to the GT500 supercharged version.
Whether this is the new Shelby GT500 in the video, we know that when the car does arrive it’ll be quite different from the previous generation’s wily GT500. This car should be refined enough to handle a racetrack maturely, yet have enough power to compete with the new Camaro ZL1 and Challenger Hellcat.
