What TV shows feature(d) Mustangs?
I'd really prefer shows that feature(d) Mustangs, but let me know if you know of any where Mustangs have been spotted in the background. Can anyone think of any TV shows were Mustangs were featured? Thanks to you guys and the guys from VMF, here's what I have so far:

- Someone drives a '60s Mustang in American Gothic
- On one episode of The Van Dyke Show, there were a couple of scenes in a mechanics shop where he was working on a '65 coupe. They removed the 'f-o-r-d' emplems from the hood (probably a sponsor problem). What makes it interesting (compared to many of the other shows listed) is that this is a truly vintage TV show with a 'brand new' Mustang just sitting there.
- Pacey drove a '65 or '66 coupe on Dawson's Creek
- Brandon Walsh drove a '65 ragtop and '95 GT convertible on Beverly Hills 90210
- In the pilot of I'm With Her, Alex Young drives a '65 ragtop
- Jessie in Full House drove a red '65 ragtop
- In Matlock, private investigator Conrad McMasters (played by Clarence Gilyard, Jr.; this character only appears 1989-93) drove a red '65 convertible.
- There's a red '65 convertible in the opening credits of Boy Meets World
- Silk Stalkings on the USA Network uses a '65 Mustang convert, Dark Ivy Green Metallic, on a regular basis in the series. It is owned by the lead male detective character in the series.
- Al Bundy restored a '65 Mustang GT convertible with neighbour Steve on Married with Children
- Mike Hammer (Stacy Keach) drove a beat-up, blue '65 coupe for at least two seasons.
- Robert Ulrich drove a green '65 fastback in Spencer for Hire. It was destroyed by fire and replaced with a Foxbody GT.
- On Grounded For Life, Sean bought Lily a red '65 Mustang when she turned 16
- Zach Morris bought a '66 convertible in Saved By The Bell
- At least one season of The FBI featured Efrem Zimbalist driving a '66 GT convertible, both in the show and during the closing credits.
- In Kolchak the Night Stalker, Darren McGavin always drove a '66 convertible.
- In Barnaby Jones, his assistant drove a '67 coupe.
- Johnny Depp drove his dad's '67 or '68 Fastback on 21 Jump Street
- There's a '68 Coupe on Tru Calling
- The only car to ever beat the General Lee in an over-land race in The Dukes of Hazzard was a '68 GT Fastback
- The first episode of Fast Lane featured a '68 Bullitt clone.
- Maxwell Smart (Agent 86) drove a '68 Shelby convertible in Get Smart
- One The Wonder Years episode had the family shopping for a car. Kevin (the son) wanted dad to buy a red '69 Mustang convertible. All his friends said his dad was cheap and wouldn't buy a Mustang. Eventually dad purchased a green '69 Ford Custom 4 dr.
- Mary Tyler Moore drove a '70 Grande in The Mary Tyler Moore Show
- Early on in First Watch, one of the EMT's drove a blue '73 Mach1. Never saw it again after that one episode
- Farrah Fawcett drove a '76 Cobra II in Charlie's Angels. In fact, all of the Angels drove Mustang IIs.
- Brad got a Fox on Home Improvement, but it was stolen and chopped.
- Robocop drove a '94 in his TV series
- One character in VIP drove a '99 or '00 yellow ragtop
- On The O.C., one of the character's fathers owns a Lexus dealership, and in one episode they had two Saleens.
- There was a Kryptonite-powered late-model GT in Smallville
- In another episode of Smallville, Lana tries to escape town with some guy in a '02 convertible.
- In yet ANOTHER Smallville episode, Lex tries to help out a reporter incognito in a red '02 GT convertible.
- Christopher Titus raced a '99-02 Funny Car, which crashed and burned up in Titus. There may have been a '65-66 convertible there too.
- In According to Jim, Jim bought an '03 GT convertible from a salesperson played by Cindy Crawford.
- There's a show on NBC at midnight on Saturdays called She Spies, and one of the characters drives an '03 Mach 1.
- There was an Azure Blue '03 Mach 1 in 24.
that fast lane bullitt clone was destroyed by the end of the episode, as for other shows, i remember one of the taylor kids buying a mustang on home improvement but i think that ride got totaled as well by the end of the show, bad pattern here, someone was talking about a mach on 24 a while back as well, did it get creamed?
Brandon Walsh and his 65 ragtop and 95 GT convertibles on 90210
Zack Morris drove a 65 mustang ragtop on "Saved by the Bell"
Al Bundy restored a 65 Mustang GT convertible with neighbour Steve on "Married with Children"

The Fox body Stang on "Home Improvement" was stolen and chopped. The '04 Mach on "24" was not trashed. This one goes waaay back but Mary Tyler Moore had a blue '70 Grande. Can't forget the Cobra II from "Charlie's Angels".
YEAH I MISSED IT, Sorry Bama. I didn't see the show at first!
Maybe I missed it in your list, but 'Spencer for Hire'?
He first drove a '66 fastback, and then a '87/'88 GT.
Hawk drove a cool all white BMW 6-series.

There was a white 96-98 GT, or Cobra (can't remember which) on Titus once also.
On a side note I really miss that show.
There was a blue, or green 99-00 GT on Grounded for Life. They were car shopping, and they wanted it, but since it wasn't a family car they didn't buy it.
Uncle Jesse, on Dukes of Hazzard, raced a black 67 coupe againt Boss Hogg in grey 67 Camaro. Uncle Jesse won btw.
I also recall seeing a red 69 fastback, another 67 coupe (it was yellow), and a white 64-66 coupe on the Dukes of Hazzard Also.

Chris is trying to get it released on DVD
OK, it was definitely (probably) the 1969 Mach 1. They even show a scene where some guys are putting the louvres back on.
Click here for Yellowcard's videos, then click on the "Ocean Avenue" vid... Looks like there might be another Mustang in the garage, but I can't be sure. I know I saw a 'vette and a Camaro, too.

Oh, I just remembered another Full House Mustang.
In one episode, Stephanie and her friend met some "older guys" at the mall and one of them had just got a '94 teal vert. They all went for a joy ride (where he screeched the tires incessantly) and ended up wrecking, I think.
