Howdy y'all.

I just signed up because I'm having Mustang Cobra fantasies again. This last happened about two years ago and I bought a red 1997 Cobra Coupe as a result. Since then, I got cold feet and sold it. Should'a kept it. But now I want back in again. I like Cobras and Shelbys and whatever. Not much dough.

Just so it's a low mileage five speed, I don't really care. Any thoughts?

By the Fox, you mean through 1995 but not 1996. Is that correct? Tell me why, please.

Also, tell me any opinions on V-6s that you may have.

 

The foxes are the coolest Mustangs imo. They're from '79-'93. I don't have a V-6 but if I did it be a 5-speed!

S-197 is the current generation Mustang. Fox Body was '79-93, SN95 was 94-04, S-197 is 05+. It's just the body style designation.

The stang in that photo was modified pretty good, stripes, Cold Air kit, Shaker Hood...etc.

 

Welcome to both... I've owned 4 Foxes(79, 80, 85, and 88). Loved all of them, especially the 88 5.0 w/T-Tops . You can pick up a late model for a very reasonable price. The 5.0s(302s) are easy to work on and modify.
