Need some advice on striping/painting.

Hey everyone, I'm new to the site but definitely not new to loving Mustangs so I'm sure we'll all get along just fine. Having said that, I need some advice. I currently have a slightly customized 09 GT which I'm trying to keep classic, traditional looking while adding some of my own personal touch without going overboard. My car has the 18" 'supersnake' inspired stripe with the two outer 1" pins as you can see in the pic but it's been on there a couple of years, starting to get a little weathered and quite frankly I'm just tired of the look. Soooo....I'm considering having the hood painted all black in the middle section...from the ridges inward, underneath the scoop but leaving the scoop silver and then also on the lower chin spoiler, having the center section painted black to match. I just can't truly decide on matte or glossy at this point. Any input would be appreciated....I'm attaching a front on view so you can see my current look. Thanks all.

I think if your going to get the car painted you should add a CDC chin spoiler to complete the look. With that being said the matte black might not look right with the gloss wheels and the fuel door. I would go gloss or even satin but not matte.

I'm for the gloss, I think it will be a nice personal touch... And yep a chin splitter would look sweet

SEM HR010 Hot Rod Black. It's excellent. But that's just me.

And I'd do the scoop to match the black. But that's just me too.

+1 on the CDC chin spoiler.

Definitely satin at the very least. The whole car is glossy/ metallic, so matte ought to be avoided.
