N00B question: Trunk Badge?

Hi all,

Does anyone make custom (or different) "trunk badges" for these cars?

This part:

I'd like to see what other options are out there, if anyone has changed theirs? What's the "official" name for this, so I can search for pictures or replacements?

If you've changed yours, can you post a picture here?

I'm considering taking off the big, chrome badges (all of them) and replacing them with vinyl "badges" in silver, white or maybe with a different font style. Still considering the various ways I might want to personalize my car.

Thanks!

It's called a "Faux gas cap". the problem with replacing it with vinyl is there are locating hole behind it and those WILL show through the vinyl.

Go to S197forum.com and search for a member named 351inside. He makes custom inserts for the rear emblem. Everything from Punisher logos to retro badges.

Oh, I know there's at least one hole behind it. That would be taken care of properly. I'm not "new" to cars, only to Mustangs.

I painted my faux gas cap and fender badges black and got one of 351Inside's decals.
