I was hanging out with my cousin this weekend and she had the greatest story about her dad.

He's got a 2013 GT and took it in for an oil change.

Long story short, he left after purchasing a 2014 Shelby GT500.

And decided to keep his GT.

And yes, I know

Looks like I need to plan a road to trip Houston...

I've been thinking the same thing. That's like 3-4 that I know of with people just spur of the moment buying them within the past 3-4 days. Ahh if only I had money.

 

My dealer is offering a black with red stripes 500 at invoice which I guess is a deal from what I'm seeing from others. I wish I could pick one up to. They tried to talk me into it as I was drooling but I was like take 20K off and its a deal. Lol

 

Lol yeah a 20k discount would seal the deal for me. I've put way too much (money for one thing) but way too much hard work, and effort in making this car mine. The only thing on it that I didn't personally install myself with my own two hands are the wheels since I don't have the ability to mount and balance my own tires haha. Even if I could, I'd feel so guilty getting rid of her now that I've done so much to it to make it unique and just buying something that comes already modified pretty much. Making the improvements are half the fun!

Thats pretty cool. Not sure how'd I explain that one....I can hear the wife saying "well how much was the oil change so I can post it in the check book?" Ummm it was 70k plus $29.95 but I got a $10 mail in rebate!
