This was my managers car when he was my age!
I agree Kevin it is insane what the high end auctions have done and now it is having a ripple effect across the entire Mustang market.
People who can't afford Shelby's buy Boss's, then it goes to Mach's and so on.
Right now if I had the money and wnated an old muscle car I would be looking at a 1970 Ford Torino Cobra. Great power and they are reasonably affordable compared to the classic Stangs.
My other manger has a 1967 S-code fastback that currently has a worked 428 under the hood. (There are rumors that 428's were dealer installed into some of the S-codes as a performance package)
Anyway he purchased the vehicle about a year ago for about $25,000 and now is recieving offers in the mid to high 30k range. Its incredible how the Mustang market has soared.
