Congrats on a sweet ride!

word of caution: Some folks aren't huge fans of younger gentlemen like yourself with fast cars. This is because in their experience, those gentlemen don't have respect for the speed, and more importantly, the danger that a car like that brings... especially when the second word out of their mouth is about going to a drag strip. If you want to make friends here, cut the racing talk, because it will get ugly quick.

Heck, I'm 25... I've been on the losing end of a "young guy vs. wise adult" thread before and learned a lot from it.

Enjoy the car! Respect it! be safe! Just tryin' to help a brother out!

Wow! I got tickets to a concert for my graduation.

This is exactly why I went with a Whipple over the Roush blower.

I don't wanna pay $7k for a blower that some lucky kid gets on his Stage 3 Roush for a graduation present.

Only enthusiasts run Whipple's!

I dont remember what I got for HS graduation. But my dad did let me take our '70 Mustang to college. I think it got better grades than me. Maybe because it didnt sleep through so many classes.
Congrats on the car!!

In all seriousness, your '97 Cobra isn't even in the same league as a '12 Stage 3 Roush.

Nothing wrong with a 20 year old driving a 14 year old car. Giving the keys of a brand new Stage 3 Roush to a HS grad is borderline crazy.

You must be a really good kid. If so, congrats.

Lol just messing with you. I'm fortunate enough that my grand pa and his friends go to the track with me every now and then. I'm pretty easy on the street.

Lol i know. Been trying to build mine up... If rod bearing 8 would stop spinning... My parents never helped pay for a vehicle. I've always had to buy them myself. Bought what I could afford lol.

No offence taken

Yeah just be careful. When I was younger I thought I was invincible with my civic and put it under a truck. just be responsible and that is one awesome grad present!

You are very lucky, be responsible and don't take advantage of your good fortune.
