My brother-in-law made me a custom painting of my Bullitt

Had to share this with you guys. My brother-in-law made this painting for me. I was blown away by how detailed it is. Talk about a cool gift!

Funny you ask because I thought the same thing after looking at the painting for a while. There are pictures of him from Bullitt using a gun with his left and right hands.

He did a great job, and a very nice gesture! Was it a birthday gift, or just for the heck of it?

Funny - I just read that after looking up a Mustang of the Day. Yes - left handed. Though he wore his Mare's Leg on his right leg.

The Rolex Explorer II, Reference 1655, known as Rolex Steve McQueen in the horology collectors' world, the Rolex Submariner, Reference 5512, which McQueen was often photographed wearing in private moments, sold for $234,000 at auction on June 11, 2009, a world-record price for the reference. McQueen was left-handed and wore the watch on his right wrist.

That doll is creepy. Your garbage can is calling its name.

Haha! To add to the creepiness, it has a cracked face which my wife glued back together. She thinks it's "adorable."

Steve McQueen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'll have to bring that up next time someone makes a snarky comment that I've got my watch on the wrong wrist.

Excellent drawing/painting...very talented, he really did a great job capturing light reflections off the body, almost photograph quality, he also nailed the "Steve McQueen facial look". Very nice gift indeed
