Brad, forgot about that one. Add it if you can. Remember the Boy Scout honor:

I'd say the boss mustangs had the best combination of looks and performance to back them up

Man . . this is a tough one!

I'm partial to the '00 Cobra R, but also like Boss 70 & 71, and I think the 82GT looked pretty mean, especially for its time . . hmmm. Then there is the 03-04 Machs, and '95 R.

I was in a lock between 00 Cobra R and 03/04 Cobra. Went for 03/04 just cause the R doesn't really seem like a production car, too limited. 69/70 Boss was a close third.

I'll go with the 1969 Boss 429. According to Brad's timeline, it had 1 more horsepower than the 1970 Boss 429 (376 vs 375)

1/4 mile = 13.60 @ 106 mph

Happy to see that people agree with me that the Bosses and newest Cobras are the meanest Stangs...

Probably either the Cobra R or '69-'70 Boss 429. The fastest is probably the 3003-4 Cobra, but it was too good to be the meanest.

I'd have to say the 1971 Boss 351 was the baddest classic stang.

A small block mustang that was as fast as a Boss 429.

Outta the newer mustangs i'd ahve to say 2000 Cobra R or a Saleen S351...
