June 2012 Total Mustang Sales - Question
Hey Folks:
I was happy to see it reported that Ford sold 10,263 Mustangs in June of this year, outselling the Camaro, and having a record month.
The question that comes up to me is if this number can be broken down into what types were sold to add up to the 10K+ sales:
Shelby GT-500 - XXX
Boss 302 - XXX
Mustang 5.0 - XXXX
Mustang V-6 - XXXX
TOTAL - 10,263
A further question for me would also be how many of these were fleet sales to rental car companies. I am always surprised to see so many premium, automatic V-6 and 5.0 convertibles in the rental fleets ( I would guess that most are V-6's ).
But, those are expensive cars ! Anybody got a idea of what the big rental guys actually end up paying for a 5.0 Premium convertible ? Sticker on a car like that is what, about $37K minimum !
