Guys I'm Sick
my new 2013 boss LS was rear ended today, while i sat at the stoplight.
All the plastic bumper stuff was pushed in. no injuries. three car pile up and i'm the front guy. only 180 miles on her.
I'm sure they can make it look like new again.
one thing that worries me is how this affects the resale value.

Sorry to hear that. Only 180 miles on her I am sick with ya. More than likely carfax will report it for the rest of its days. Me personally would over look it because it is not that big of a deal. Thing can be fixed and it can be better than new. Just a matter of who is buying it and their opinion.

Well, I'm happy you're just sick and not worse.
Get a good inspection done on that. The cheap plastic on the front and rear of cars these days doesn't do squat for a "minor" bump. Hopefully there isn't more damage underneath, or you could be looking at $5k easily.

Glad you are okay. That is the problem with a new, and very nice car. Always paranoid driving it for fear of the idiots out there on the road. Hope the repair comes out good as new

Make sure you file a diminished value claim with the at fault insurance company. I am in the process of that now with my 7 month old GT/CS. I was T-Boned last month by a woman that stopped at the stopped sign then pulled out right into me!
And I fell your pain...

Sorry to hear, hope they get you back to "better than new" condition. if you are concerned about resale value in the long run, make sure you keep all your repair docs listing the actual parts replaced. it will give the potential buyer an idea how bad the car was damaged, and you the ability to negotiate with fact if the buyer says; "oh, your car has been in an accident"
CarFax will not list the complete repair details.
