Instant collectibles
So, if Ford unfortunately went out of business, would that make our Mustangs instantly highly prized collectibles. I find it hard to believe that it could be a possibility. I hope they get it all straightened out and return to profitability. Otherwise, the next generation Mustang will be actually built by a foreign company that would probably buy Ford. Let's hope that the American Mustang stays American. Yes, I know some of the parts are foreign in the current Mustang, but it is built by an American company in an American factory and most of the parts are American. And I'm not bashing foreign car companies. Heck, the reason the quality of American cars improved over the last 20 years is because of stiff competition from the Japanese. Competition is a good thing, we all get better cars. I just hate to see an American icon like Ford go down. Let's hope for the best. OK, I'm done with my lecture. I guess I just feel strongly about it.

I highly prize mine already...but, no they wouldn't be worth any more money if that's what you're asking. There's still the same number of Mustangs on the street, it's supply and demand. My Cutlass didn't go up in value when GM killed Oldsmobile.
