Angry Imports ...... and A%$# behind the wheel

Am at the light coming back from Hollywood Video after renting out a movie and a couple of PS2 games for the kids (with my kids in the car) and this jerk in his 350Z is rev'n his engine behind me. The light turns green and this guy
nearly rear ends me switching lanes right away to pass by me on the left
hand lane. What is it with these rev happy idiots in these imports with
this kind of behavior? Its not the first time this has happen - Am in my forties and have no interest in street racing. I almost felt like slamming on the brakes and letting this guy rear end me ! I would have my car repaired way before his, since I've heard horror stories of 350Z owners waiting for months from parts !! I know I was considering buying one - but had to go back to my Ford roots (1st car in my teens - 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 390 ci engine).

I feel like finding this guy and taking him on (at the track) and betting some real money. Where do these guys come off with this kind of crap ?

FEI: I would not ever consider slamming on the brakes and destroying my prides and joys: kids & my mustang!!!

Angry To tell you the truth ......

This old man would have probably nailed it and smoked the SOB if the kids were'nt in the car. At least to show him to bug off. Can't stand these kids that do this kind of stuff to provoke a street race. Its so careless to cut and slash from the rear of someone's car to do a fly by ! If I had decided to cut to the left lane we would have both been there for hours still waiting for the cops. And probably an ambulance because this guy would have been in serious condition - not from the accident, from me ringing his little punk neck for damaging my mustang !!!!!!

With all the street racing horror stories and the police crackdown in my area, I try and behave

I had a similar incident happen a few weeks ago, the ding-dong actually ground the gears after he passed me trying to look cool

Happens all the time. I just rev it to the red and look over at them, it is usally enough to seal the deal and they back off. Gotta love the stingers for that. Every now and again I like to prove a point but I only do it to cars that deserve it. I wont race junk (i.e. Civic, Accord, etc) but if someone in a 350Z pulls up I am gonna smoke them.
Had someone in a S2000 the other day being an idiot. Pulled in front of me and putting his green neons on. Would pull into the other lane so that we would be next to one another at the lights. I ignored him the first time but when he started to act like an idiot at the next set of lights I took him on.
If anyone in an S2000 EVER pulls up next to you and wants to race, PLEASE just drop it and take them on. It is worth the look on their face. Make sure you slow down and let them pass though.

IDIOTS!

Cool Import cars have a ......

napoleon complex:is a colloquial term used to describe a type of inferiority complex suffered by people who have very little horsepower and it is proven on a daily basis on the street and the track against powerful v8 ford mustangs. The term is also used more generally to describe ricers who are driven by a perceived handicap to overcompensate in other aspects of their cars by installing extremely loud axle back exhausts that drone all the time.

Angry A$$ O Jetta Ricer.......

This aways happens when my wife and the kids are in the car.
Pimpled Teenager in a Riced out Jetta with all kinds of performance
stickers on his car, droped to the floor and with a loud annoying exhaust -
had the nerve to want to race me last night !! What is it with these people?
Am minding my own business driving home from doing the groceries and I get
a rev and a nitrous purge in front of my wife !!!!!!

Ok no respect !!!! Here comes my Shelby GT500 conversion - full with emblems and these other goodies !!!! Not to mention a deep mean exhaust !

Plan 1 to scare off the ricers: Shelby GT500 full conversion
Plan 2: He gave me the idea - so thanks you A$$ O - Here it is
# 1 Video here
# 2 Video here
P.S You young kids are something else, learn from an old timer - don't put silly
performance stickers on your cars -> Calls too much attention from Cops !!
Also have you ever heard of a sleeper ?!?!!

It's even worse (for them) if they have a female with them and they are smoked and owned buy a Mustang. I love that, especially when they catch up at the next traffic light.

I don't know if its the talking smack that irritates me more or when they actually challenge you to a race. I'm 17 and building a 68 mustang with a 351w with some mods probable 330-340 hp but this kid challenges me to a race when I get it finished. he said that he will race me in ANY car and still blow the doors off because he can "push any car to its limits". what a joke right?
