I thought that I would share this with you guys...

I had a very special opportunity back on April 14th to congregate with 39 other Mustangs (read: 40 for the 40th Annv). It was a birthday party for the Ford Mustang held in Dearborn for Ford employees. While I am not one, I am friends with one and they needed a few more Stangs to reach 40. From what I understood, not many employees were allowed to miss work to attend (bummer).
The special occasion gave me a rare glimpse of some things not everyone else may get to see. While I would love to have taken alot more pictures, Ford's security was pretty tight (for instance, there was five '05 test mule Mustangs all parked together that would have made for a great shot). What I did get to do is meet alot of nice fellow/fellowette Mustang owners, see a 2005 test mule close up and I got to take a lap on Ford's Dearborn Proving Grounds.
Check out all four pages of pictures from that event (and click on the photos for a larger picture). Just look for the orange glow and that will be my car

This is cool--the '67 Shelby and '05 GT are definitely related.

That is the largest resolution of that particular shot. When I get home (if I remember), I can dig through my personal pictures and see if there are any similar to that shot. Most of my pics were taken at 2000 something x ???? (fairly hi-res).
