I have a 1967 mustang with 235 60 15 tires/rims but not enough clearance

This mustang guy told me that i should get 235 60 15's for my stang but when my dad and i put the tires on there's not enough clearance. Im not sure if it's my Alinement on the car. What should i do? i cant return the tires. Some people have said i can get the suspension lifted. Not sure what to do so Im asking maybe this has happen to some one and someone can help me.

235/60-15s are too big unless you get fender flares; Bosses had tires rougly that size and needed fender flares. You could get some fabricated, or just move down a size or two... Maybe 225s instead?

Notably, the 68 Stang in Bullitt had 235/70-15s, and not surprisingly, had clearance issues.
