I was driving home down Main St where I live today in heavy two lane stop light traffic and there was a cop in front of me. I pull up along next to him just to see what he'd do, then traffic let up and I rolled ahead of him. The cop was this old fat guy, looked like that detective on NYPD Blue. Anyway he was just driving doing nothing, when I get in front of him I can see he's almost stopped swerving all over the road. He was looking at my car and looking back at his computer, I could tell he was running my plate.

:bang:

what was I thinking?

I'm thinking you were thinking you wanted some attention and now you are getting it but, not who you wanted it from. Atleast he didn't find a reason to pull you over.

i thought it was cased like 'cased out' as in the old slang use of the word. meant 'to examine carefully, as in planning a crime'.
