How do you just LOSE a Mustang?
Well, let me tell you-
Ok, I cannot even begin to figure how upset I am now, but doing one of the only constructive things I can in this situation-
My dad was trailering my 1969 Mustang GT sportsroof, teal in color up from S FL along I-95. SOMEHOW, it managed to come off without their knowing. Anyway, there is a loose 1969 Mustang running around on I-95. I am hoping at best minimal damage. No reports from FHP or local jurisdictions have come in either, so at least it didt seem to cause any accidents. So I know some Floridians are on here, so please please, keep your eyes peeled, especially on I-95 (northbound, but you never know ehre it could have ended up), covering pretty much from Hollywood to Jacksonville. Again, this Just just happened this morning. Thanks for ANY help!

My wife wouldnt totally do that to me and drag me on for a few minutes untill she could no longer hold back the laughter from listening to me flip out.....not funny by the way....
Lets hope so!...way to be an optamist!
.....at any rate...did they turn around and try to back track thier steps? I mean...that should have held up traffic at least, and it would have taken the police quite a bit of time to get it moved or towed away. It should have still been wherever it fell off if they turned around.....I smell something fishy here....this sounds too wierd.

Well they're not dumb so they have to make look as if everything fell off. I'm trying to give you hope here. Roll with it.

You know....I've towed A LOT of cars in my time and I can't imagine ANYONE not noticing a car falling off a trailer!!!! Was this a tow dolly or full car trailer?
I mean seriously....I can't imagine anyone that oblivious that something like this would go unnoticed.

This is the kind of thing that only happens to Mr. Magoo....I mean....When it happened...it would have made all kids of noise and the truck would have jolted or something from the weight difference....I am going to go out on a limb and say that this situation is impossible to get into.

Yeah, I've never seen it happen before, a car falling off a trailer, shy of episodes of Knight Rider, where KITT rolls out from behind the semi tractor trailer. You'd think there would be some kind of show behind you, no matter how 'dark' it is back there. Just fyi- when i was driving my 88lx up here, i could see it behind the big box body of the uhaul i drove. As impossible as it sounds (or whatever more possible explaination there is), I am still out a 69 Mustang GT. And back to the point of please anyone rolling up or down I-95, just keep them peepers peeled.

Heck I even wonder if it managed to get cloaked or it got sucked into a fog bank / bermuda triangle. really the more I read what I wrote and the more doubts there are as to its unlikliness of not noticing it 'falling', plus I also calculate it was about 30-40% of the total load- most of you must think I am totally nuts. Really, I need some answers, and from the sounds of it, once my folks get up here, i may never find out what "really happened"- if it didnt just fall off the back.
