Home Air Compressor recommendations
I need a compressor in my garage and finally have the space.
What do you guys recommend? What's good/bad these days.
230 V, 30 amp available
I don't see myself doing bodywork (grinders etc) but impact wrenches and stuff like that.
Used to have a 60 gal but that may be overkill.

I have a smaller unit about maybe 16 gal tank and 1hp. It does the trick for the most part. Will not run a da sander but does lugnuts and some spray painting. This one doesn't look to bad

I've got a 60 gallon upright Ingersol-Rand 220v single phase that I bought at Tractor Supply Co.
I loved it for all of a month and then a leaky hose caused it to run and run one night and until the breaker finally overheated and shut it off. Now I've got to do a valve job on it as it won't build pressure.
Wasn't the fault the compressor. Was my fault for not closing the valve at the tank when not in use.
Now I'm back to using my little portable
Contractor compressor until I get it fixed.
