HID install help

Hey TMSers, I need your help installing an HID kit i got today. I've put the new bulb in and made all the connections between the bulb and the ballast, and then the ballast and the factory harness, but I'm left with two connectors that don't have anything to plug into. One is a female tamiya plug connector that is part of the ballast harness supplied in the kit, and the other is a female black plastic connector that was comes off the back of the bulb. Obviously these don't go together as they're both female ends and different types of connectors, but there's nothing else supplied in the kit that matches up with them either.

Am I missing some part of the kit or are these just extra plugs for different applications?

Attached are a couple photos to try to illustrate the problem.

Additional info:

Upon further inspection my second bulb does not have the third connector, but the second ballast does have the extra female tamiya connector...

Well I went ahead and turned them on to see if they work and they did, so I just taped up the extra connectors.

HOWEVER, after backing the car out of the garage to see them against the garage door they flicker like crazy when the car is running! I let them run for about ten minutes thinking it was a normal "break in" period or something but nothing changed, they still flicker really bad ONLY when the car is running.

Additionally, switching to high beams makes no noticeable difference in light angle or output, but DOES stop the flickering completely. Any idea what's going on?

Okay, first simple question...did you get a BI-XENON kit? That means one bulb does both low-beam and high-beam. Depending on your answer I'll try to help you further.

Yes. The invoice says I got an "XHID H13 6K BI-XENON KIT," it was from a local car audio shop, I didn't order it online.

Is there a third black looking box?

Should be some sort of relay that connect to the fuse box under the hood and also to a ground. Then that probably connect to the harness at each bulb. Thats the way mine was but it was a different kit. Seems like the headlight switch was only used as a on off switch in my application. Power was taken from the box. It actually connected where battery cable is terminated at the box. I just loosened the bit and attached it there.

Just an idea. Again mine came from another source but that was my setup.

Was this kit new in box and unopened?

It seems it could be missing something. Did it had instructions? Does this place specialize in this? Do they know or install these also?

Send me your e-mail address, and I'll send you an easy wiring diagram for you to use.

Yeah, it was new in box, but didn't include any instructions. So I just made all the obvious connections haha.

The place I bought it from advertises that they specialize in HID installs and was recommended by a friend. I'd be calling them up today if I weren't sitting at Spokane "international" airport right now waiting for my flight to LA.
