Funny you mention that! I turned around in a parking lot full left as far as the wheel would turn at low speed and heard a loud clunk. Don't know if it is the same thing but thought it was really odd. Never heard it again.

TSB #13-7-8. Some Mustangs "11 - "13 have had lower control arm problems. They will squeak/creak/groan/clunk/bump when going over bumps ex. speed bumps. The TSB fixed mine, and others. Take your car to your dealer, mention this TSB, and they can tell if this is your problem.

@pminri, yours was a normal sound. When you turn full lock it will cause the front suspension to rub together, and it will pop or clunk.

Thanks for the info. Bit concerning. One would think they would limit the end travel just a bit.

Thanks for the info wanted 33 I am in dubai and the only ford dealer al Tayer aren't very reliable all of us in the emirates mustang club (EMC) have had issues with them. The roads and climate here are perfect for our cars but ford here are like a bunch of crooks or just incompetent fools.
Our choice is limited to them for service and parts so can charge what they want. My baby is there tomorrow so fingers crossed it makes it back

It should be done under warranty. The parts involved are addressed in the TSB. The main part is the shield that directs the exhaust manifold heat away from the LCA's. Mine has been fixed for approx. 6000 miles, and the problem seems to taken care of. Good luck.

BTW, it does require a realignment after the new LCA's are installed. Don't let the dealer bypass this part.

Not to be concerned. Every vehicle on the road today, and through the years will do the same thing when turned full lock gong over a bump.

Hi Queenstav9,

Please disregard my previous post on your other thread. Since you’re in Dubai, I recommend calling the Middle East Customer Relationship Center at +971 (0) 4 3326084 for assistance.

Also, I know we’ve made arrangements with the Overseas Military Sales Corporation (OMSC) to assist with service-related issues. OMSC can help you find a participating service center, which should be able to assist you with the key. Please contact them at 1-800-669-6183 or 9-011-49-6173-704-256. I hope this helps.

If you don’t think this is normal, be sure to have your dealer check it out, pminri. If you need further assistance, don’t hesitate to PM me.
