Help fixing seat holster
I just got a brand new 2018 mustang convertible and the flimsy seatbelt holder had the piece connected on the left side break off. I've tried to click it back into place but it doesn't seem to latch the same. Does anyone know if there is anyway to fix this, and how much it might cost to do so? Attached a picture of the piece for reference.

If it's broken my guess is there's no fix. Glueing it may hold it for a little bit, but that would be just a patch. You can call your local dealers parts dept. for the price of a replacement. I wouldn't think the cost would be too high.

Totally agree Jim! It only takes simple common sense to realize that such a part cannot be repaired and therefore requires replacement... All this person in question needed to do is contact his/hers local Ford dealer to order a replacement part, rather than waste this forum's time as a one time poster

Yeah, for something like that I would try to get a replacement part, either through a salvage yard, or order a new one. New would get my vote...

Yes indeed!

My guess is that if it's broken, there isn't a remedy. It might be temporarily held in place by glue, but it would only be a temporary fix. You can reach the parts department of your nearby dealers.

^^^^ Rather than repeat what has already been posted several times! How about also introducing yourself in the "Introductions" sub-forum section by highlighting the forums drop down menu located on the upper left corner of the home page, then highlight "Ford Mustang Chat" and then highlight/select "Introductions" Once your in the " Introductions" sub-forum section, you can either choose to introduce yourself from any of the existing threads or you can submit a new thread and introduce yourself that way as an option as well...
