Headlights stuck in ON position
2005 Mustang GT. Rainy day and ran through a puddle of water yesterday, afterward the turn signals quit, the power locks didn't work, after turning the car off the radio delay shut off was almost immediate instead of a few minute delay and the key fob did not function. Car sat for approx. 2 hours. Key fob still did not function but the power locks (done manually) and the turn signals worked. When the car was locked and the door shut the "beep" and lights did not blink as usual. Also when the car is started the headlights are on (and stay on) with the **** in the off position.
Re-programmed the key fobs so they now work but all the other "electrical" issues I'm still having. . . Any ideas or suggestions on what to look for?
Thanks!

The smart junction box got wet on the pax side, I bet. Known issue. Think there's a TSB out there for it... yeah, here ya go:

and...another victim of the Ford in car shower system.
Pull up the carpets (not easy) so you can get your hand in far enough to feel the underpad it can be totally soaked and the carpet will appear to be dry.
Good luck.
