Yes, it's time again for that annual event--find a screw struck in the Pirelli.
(It always has to be in the outer tread block so that it can't be patched!)
This seems to happen just about once a year for every year that I have owned a Saleen!

And...of course, nobody stocks PZero Reds in my area, so it's a 3 day wait for the new one. :bang:

At least I got a chance to try out the new jacket stand (and) show-off the new Gladiator wall system in the garage.

(Edit: Now it's not just spelling, I'm forgetting whole words.)

I'm so sorry man, that stinks. I need to buy two new tires when I get back in December. I noticed my front tire wear was off and took it in for an alignment......it was way off! Alignment is now good, tires inner tread, not good. Glad I don't have 18's.

Well--all is again right with the world. I have tires on all four corners.

(But I'm keeping the tire order information on the desk, contractor just started work on our garage expansion--they are jack-hammering the driveway as I type this.)

Garage expansion? :worship:

More room means more cars, right?

Oh..how I wish!

But, this is more of a restoration--we reduced one of the garage bays when we expanded our laundry/mudroom and now we are adding on 8 feet more so we can again have a 3 car garage.

so just out of curiosity, what size tires does the sa-20 run and how much per tire?

Your car would look just as good sitting on concrete blocks with all the wheels missing

I've got the Saleen wheel/tire upgrade option on the SA-20, so it has
265/35 ZR/18 NA4 on the front (18x9) and
295/35 ZR/18 Y99 on the rear (18x10).

They are Pirelli PZero Rosso--fronts start about $250+
and the rears are are close to $400 each, if you can find them.
Then there was the extra charge for dealing with a low profile tire removal/install. :bang:

the garage I work at doesn't charge any extra for dealing with low pro's, I don't really mind cause even if we did I wouldn't see any extra money

Wish I had been so lucky.

Also found a small scratch on the painted wheel. - -
Good thing I had some pearl white touch-up paint.
