I know there has been a lot of discussion regarding flame paint jobs, for and against. I found these two pictures on another forum, I think that this paint job is cool. It would only work for red cars though!

I like those flames, especially the "ghost-like" effect on a red background color.

I like the flames and the hood is pretty cool with the open in the front.

Flames are awesome. I fully plan on getting ghost flames on my Sonic Blue GT. Flames are a nicer custom touch than stripes (IMO), but also much more expensive.

What kind of price range should you expect?

I'm not entirely sure myself. When I had flames painted on my Cutlass, I was actually taking an autobody class, and my instructor did it for free, I just paid for materials.

I've heard of people crazy money for flames though, I'm talking $3K. I'm hoping to get an airbrusher to do it for under $1K. I think airbrushed flames look way better than outlined ones.

Thanks for the compliments. B) I had most of the materials on hand, so I only charged the guy $1800.

That looks great. At a car show in my small town last month there was a red customized Cadillac hearse with flames. Amazing.

Black with flames looks awesome. Does anybody remember the California Kid?

There was a pic of an incredible ghost flame job on SN about a year or so ago. The guy only paid paid $600 for it.
