Hands free /bloothooth aftermarket?

Please Help me Identify what this is and how to use it.

I bought my car used and i discovered this aftermarket "device", which I am assuming is a hands free of some sort, to the left of the" steering wheel and to the right of the dashboard's light dimming track-wheel... It has two buttons, one looks like a "handset" and one like a "grid", with a blue light in between the two buttons.
My iphone does not find it as a bluetooth device.
The light blinks blue. When I start the car, the light goes off, but if i hold the "handset" icon for 5 seconds the light starts blinking...
Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you.
