I just talked to a great FOrd dealer in beautiful Guttenburg, Iowa. Dave Brown of Brown's Sales & Leasing. He is a real Mustang nut and all around muscle car mavin. He was very easy and agreeable to talk to. He offered me an extreemly reasonable deposit amount and price on a new Mustang order. You couldn't beat it.

He was saying that the GT/CS was the greatest opportunity in terms of looks and value. He convinced me. He didn't actually know that the California Special was available in Grabber Orange and he flipped when I told him. He'd love to order one. Next, he liked the Redfire/parchment. He and I have similar tastes.

He owns three dealerships and is easy to talk to. What a guy.

 

Wow, I didn't even know Guttenberg existed. And I was born in McGregor.

Had my uncle still owned his Ford dealership I might've given him a chance, but he sold out and now owns the GM dealerships in Prairie Du Chien. Maybe I'll call him when the Camaro 'vert is available, just to see what he'll do.
