Well, my friend who has an 01 is willing to sell his because of some financial issues he's been having of late. Only 1k over what he'd get for blue book value. It's been built up some, I know it has the 4.10 gears in it, but not sure what else. I'll have to talk to Brad about how to change my nic cause it looks like I'm gonna wait a few more years to get probably an 07 or 08 model stang. Of course by this time next year I might just go ahead and get the titanium 06. I do agree that the 05 is by far the better of the mustangs, so please don't turn this post into a debate on it. I'll be happy, my friend will be less in debt, and I'll have a very well taken care of mustang that has never seen the roads during rainy weather.

It better be uber clean, that is quite expensive for an 01. I turned down a D-plan 04 cobra with 3000+ in rebates because I would be disappointed with it after sitting in an 05 pre-pro for 2 sec. You have to be nuts to make a decision with an entirely new design available in under a month.

I totally agree..... DON'T DO IT!!!!

If you pay more that blue book trade in your not getting a good deal.

dealer trade in on it is 14k in the condition it's in and I'm paying 1k less then that... not to mention it's less then 20k miles and well cared for. You couldn't find one at a dealership for less, and besides I can trade it in for an SE when the time comes. The paint isn't chipped/scratched etc... the interior is flawless. The vehicle literally looks like it came off the showroom floor.
