The Future of the Original Pony Car
No millenials buy cars? Have you guys been to an autocross event lately? Young people are buying new cars and more and more of them buying smarter!
What millenials want isn't necessarily economy and no performance, they want technology and some novel way of going fast. They want prestige, pseudo-foreign bones - They want STis and Evos, Fiesta focus STs and VW GTis! M4s S5s, they want drive modes, and racing seat options, tuner-friendly (the ecoboost engine is DYING for a Cobb tune) etc etc
The classic muscle config will always continue to have its fans but having selectable drive modes with GT-R-esque levers signals to me that Ford recognizes this trend and will continue to lead the American domestic coupe market in that direction (you know new Camaro and Cuda will just be the same concept because Ford will be right!)
If they can steal just a few hundred m235i and G37xS coupe buyers into ecoboost perf or GT 5.0 performance cars Ford has a hit on its hand !

What kind of crack are u smokin? The Mustang is not based off a Ford Five Hundred. The Five Hundred is a front wheel drive Volvo platform. The 2005 Mustang was developed from a heavily reworked Lincoln LS platform to the point it shares only a piece of floorpan.

Omg, ba ha ha ha ha. Lmfao
Boy, you're easy lol. You must be 'that guy', that laughs at all the jokes at the local comedy club.
It really was the crack part that got me.
Man, I'm sorry we missed each other. My bad! I'm really hoping AM decides to make the show next year a weekend show. The show is just too huge at this point to have it for one day. Too much awesome stuff too see and do there. Lol

I could've driven something WAY more economical than the Stang... But I'm having too much fun with the Stang to let something like fuel economy stop me too much
