Is the first few shifts from 1st to 2nd gear at 45 degrees smooth? That's where most of the complaints are. I know mine really crunches into gear(s) at lower temps. I don't drive it much at these temperatures because the summer tires don't perform the same, but when I do it is very noticeable. Mine does shift smoothly once the car has come to full temp ( about 15 min ). I have a 2014 GT TP with 2500 miles on mine now and it has been very consistent. I live in the New England area so I think it will be something ill just have to live with.

Like I said you cant even feel any mechanical feel at all. it is really like a hot knife in butter. My car was modded by the dealership sitting in the showroom already lowered and with the Procal tune etc...the shifter seems stock to me other than it has the metal ball shift ****. I haven't driven a stock 5.0 so I have nothing to compare it too however, there is absolutely no grinding at all in any temps so far.

Coming up on two years and 25k on my '13 and the only issue I have with the shifter is that it's sloppy. I live in New England but pretty much always warm my car up when cold and if I can't, I accelerate slowly with very deliberate shifts until it warms up. Just my .02; hope it helps someone. Installing an MGW soon anyway though, so I don't miss any more gears.
