Ford Pass-any thoughts?

I recently got a 2024 Mustang and now about a month into ownership. I just tried to get into the Ford Pass app and I get a HUGE disclaimer that I have to agree to or it blocks access the app. I haven't read it all but it I'm interpreting it a making me agree to their remote monitoring of my location, driving patterns, data gathering for their and their commercial partner's use and me having no say in their actions or uses. As of this point I really only wanted to have remote location solely in the case of the vehicle being stolen but it is such a huge disclaimer I don't know that I'll ever know everything that's in it.
Anybody have experience?

I'm Not a Fan of Connected Vehicles But What Can You Do. Regardless of Your Ford Pass on Your Particular Year, You are Getting OTA Over the Air Updates For Recalls & Updates That Ford Can Do So They Don't Have to Pay the Dealer To Do it! Yep. Signing Up Just Lets Them In All The Time & All The Way. It's Your Call.

I Don't Know But if You Did Not Sign Up and Vehicle Was Stolen What is To Stop You From Signing Up at Time of Theft For Tracking. Not Sure if You Would Have to Do Some Actions With Car at Hand During Process!

My Feeling is in this Time of Everything Getting Hacked is To Not Open Any more Doors Than Needed.

My only positive towards this is typically once the car is out of warranty the sign-up option may disappear… You will have to check on this since I am not sure on Ford, but for my Jeep GC the free portion of the app basically became worthless once the 3 years passed. Would have had to signup and pay before the end of warranty to keep the tracking, remote app start, app unlock, etc.

I never used those option and still have not had a need, but this is a person decision.
