I owned a '73 Fastback with a 351C, so I love those body styles. Even though, I would have to vote for the '71-'72 Machs. Last of the big motors baby!

69 was the best year for all muscle cars(by this time the mustang was a muscle car) with 2 definate and 2 maybe exceptions. The definates? 70 chevelle SS 454. ( The ultimate of all Muscle Cars) And the 70 Cuda/challenger. The maybes? 70 boss and mach 1 mustangs.

The 1970 Mach 1 is personally my favorite Mustang so naturally I voted for '70.

The 71-72s are phat up, but only if you get the whole package with the spoiler and everything. Otherwise, it looks super awkward.

I voted 69 anyway.

I love the 69 body style, but the 69 mach1 styling doesn't offer enough to cover the 04 performance.

There is no doubt in my mind that the 69 is the king of Mach 1's, becuase it is also my favorite Mustang. I have dreamt of a 69 since I was 15, I would give anything to have one. But I have become a little biased toward the 71, since I am about to embark on restoring one, at first I was not a huge fan of the 71, but it has grown on me.
