I went with the '03 to '04,though it was not easy,I love the '69 to '73s too B)

 

'69 Best Body IMO

 

I should be biased as well, but 1970 351 Cobrajet all the way (428CJ a little too nose heavy), followed closely by the 2004 Comp. Orange Mach 1 !

Own an 03, but I still want a 69 4-spd.

 

'69 is my favorite, second favorite would be a '03 or '04.

1970, 351 Cleveland, 4sp, front & rear spoilers and rear window slats.
My sister-in-law got a '70 model as her graduation present but sold it later as her and my brother wanted to start a family.

 

1969 was the greatest year for ford mustangs IMO

 

I like the 71-72. I love the bodys on them. I really love the Stance. The car doesn't hold true to the saying Pony car. Because its a massive car. I am looking into restoring a yellow 71 mach one. 351. That body change was a daring step for ford. But there amazing cars. The only this was the 70-71 351 engines ran terrible C heads. U can get massive amounts of more power out of them with better C heads. I love the Interior also. it was very sharp looking

 

I love the 1971-1972 Mach 1s with their Ram Air hoods and pop-open fuel doors, but to me, the Shaker makes the Mach.

Thanks brad. Its nice to see some people like the 71-72. I'm not which one it is. But the Ram air or the rear is my favorite. That thing is an amazing fastback. You can't even see anything out the back window. plus u drive behind them and unless you ride high. you can't see into the rear of the car. Thats just cool for me. I love it.
