the 98-93 LX 5.0's respond so well to bolt-ons, were light and cheap and fast.

I love the clean, all-business looks, especially with the sedan
Yup, #1 in my book

In the halcyon days of modern mustangdom a 5.0 LX was the car to have if you were a Ford guy or a Regal T-type if you were a GM guy. Camaro's, Firebirds and Vettes packed more bark (err, pork) than bite and were hard to mod.

Tis' a shame that Ford took a little while to come around, especially when the LT-1's showed up with a nice 275hp.

The last couple of years of the LX 5.0 are sweet. Simple, fast, and to the point. Great bang for the buck.

I voted for the SVO, but hey, what do I know? (Former owner of one....)

I now vote that we should have a runoff of the top three or something....

Just an idea. But give it a week or so...

I've always loved the '91-'93 GT fox bodies. Almost all those cars were fairly inexpensive, FAST, easy to find FASTER parts for, and they looked great right off the lot, and those pony wheels...good times, good times, Nathan

91-93 GT's for me. Of course I'm biased since the only Mustang I ever had was a 91 Oxford White GT.

1985-1986 Capri 5.0!! (Yes, I know that 1986 was the only year for a 'Capri 5.0' (Mercury used no RS distinction in 1986.)

But really I like them all! I grew up with the Foxes (5 years old in 1979), so I have fond feelings for all of them . . .except the 2.3, 4-cylinder, auto, LX's

The 85-86 Capri's just have the looking front end out of them all. Thanks to the 1979, 1980, 1982 Mustang Pace Car/Cobra/GT's front air dam!!

My old Capri @ Laguna Seca with then Second Owner.
Have to join "Evil Capri" on this one!!

Here's mine.....

the Fox years had many interesting models, but in my opinion, the perfection came in the form of the 1993 cobra:

this will always be one of my favorite mustangs of all time.

I like the '86 Saleen, but i also perfer the '93 Cobra, and the nice car that 05mach1 posted, i think that's my 1st choice, it's hard to decide, seeing that i'm looking for a Mustang as my car.
