The one with the I6 is probably used for underhood shots...

They will probaly redo the sound with the I6 sounds.. but it sounds so nice with a V8...

are you sure it's not going to be the other way around? I think they might have put that Skyline motor in it, because it is easier for them to repair in Japan, than the mustang V8. I bet there will be a V8 shown in the movie. Just a guess.

They did the same thing with the Aston Martin and Jag in the Bond movie, put american V8s in them for ease of repair overseas.

You think high tech skyline motor is easyer to repair then a carb'd V8...LOL...

Japanese could fix it with chop sticks and rice paper.

Reguardless of where they are, you said it yourself, they used Ford V8s int eh aston asn jags cause they are easy to maintain....same reason to use V8 for the F&F filming.

I'm pretty sure that the movie cars will have v8s in them, especially the stunt cars, which might even retain their stock motors. Like Knight said, the one with the I6 is probably just for underhood shots...but who knows.

I just hope they don't harm any of the muscle cars like they did in the last one. I hated seeing that red Saleen get crushed by that semi.

The one that got crushed was just a base stang with saleen body kit and paint... but yes it is sad to see them get hurt.
