My friend found this website, this is such a disgrace!!!
Who in their right mind would do something like this?!?

I'm literally laughing looking at this!

I think it looks pretty good. Not that I'd ever do that.
The whole pricing scheme is ridiculous. Donor car + $13K + Paint $$ and another $1K if you want to keep your original parts (which they'll sell off anyway)?
Go buy a V6 for that price.

I take it as a compliment as well.. Hopefully, the older stangs will become like the Cobra's, and all be worth alot of money... I think it is a very creative novalty.. I wouldnt knock anyone with a good imagination.. I think its awsome.. Of course I would rather own the real thing, but I respect the guys doing it tremendously.. I bet these guys can restore real Mustangs better than anyone else.. They are so 1 to 1 with the entire concept, they have allowed their love for the car to spill over into other platforms, as a foundation..
For all you guys with the older stangs, why would one turn to this type of foundation to start.? Could it be hard to find older stangs with 100 % restorable pieces in certain areas? Meaning lots of chassis and body rot? There could be numerous reasons for the novalty...

I've got no problems with it. The "Mustang I" concept from 1962 was a four-cylinder powered two seater. So in some ways this may be considered truer to the original concept than any Mustang ever sold.
(The "Mustang I" was powered by a V4 mid mounted engine, not a front moounted I4.)
