Found this pic on an anti rice site. I can't believe these people believe this crap. :bang: You know what go ahead and believe it when your Honda pulls up to a Mustang or any other American Muscle car or a mini-van your going to be shut down.

I just hope and pray the Mustang, Hemi, and Vette will help put an end to the rice age. Because the only muscle cars left are the Mustang and the Vette.

I think the Chrysler 300C just joined the club, even if it is a 4 door. What about the Viper?

Variable valve timing is a great technology. Just imagine what you can do with that and a large displacement combined eh?

They're only lying to themselves. Even the most diehard riceboy knows that it's far from true. I mean, really, when was the last time you saw a Vtech Civic burn a V8? Besides, many of those fourbangers have absolutely nothing else going for them. And put yourself in their shoes: if YOUR engine's displacement was less than the size of the soda you just ordered from Burger Slop, wouldn't you try to boast about something else so you wouldn't have to constantly bring it up? A turbocharger? Ph8t chrome intake and a bangin' 7' wide tailpipe?

On a related note, Has anyone seen the new civics? I got the 'pleasure' of riding in my friends brand new Civic Si (that's the hideous hatchback (*cough* stationwagon *cough*)). The car ended up costing more than $20,000, and it has about 145 horsepower. It has no low end power at all, and takes at least 8 seconds to hit 60. But it's all OK, because it actually comes from the factory with Vtech stickers on it; I guess it saves the buyers the time and effort of going out and buying them. As long as people see the Vtech stickers, it's a cool car... right? Variable valve timing would be really sweet technology, were it to be used in the right applications... like a V8. It's just wasted on fourbangers.

So sad.

You know the great thing about the American Muscle Cars? It's that 20 years from now, these cars are classics, restored, preserved. 20 years from now the ricers will be stuffed with sardines and sent back to Japan. Fact.

I highly doubt that. Any car with any significant cultural impact will become a classic. Whether you like it or not, Ricers have done that.

Thats one creepy mental image.

Sad but true. It's the same deal with today and the old folks listening to swing and jazz. Just think. The old folks will be listening to fiffy, and the younger generation will have newer, fast, even more profane music that us, the old people, will think it is "God awful noise".

same thing with motorcycles. Japanese bikes are fast and disposable. who bothers to restore them? no one. Well I am sure there is someone that does but as a whole there is no market for old Japanese bikes.

Old harleys, indians, etc will always be in demand just like old muscle cars.

The shirt is right though. It is a good substitute for not having a V8.

And you're right, 05Fan. The Viper and Corvette are NOT muscle cars.

I'm sorry I can't believe that at all. I go to allot of old car shows and I don't believe 25-40 years from now we are going to have a guy there with a 95 Civic saying he just completely restored like factory original. In that fact it won't even be there moded. The only cars that survive time are LEDGENDS :worship: such as the mustang, Thunderbird, Corvette, etc. The Rice age will pass and be one of the times in History we say what the heck where kids smoking.

I miss the Buick GSX! BRING IT BACK! We need a 455ci big block... but i'd love to put that engine inside of a stang.

Someone needs to make a shirt that says... V TEC, Viagra for Ricers...
