I have the first "official" mod on the Mustang! This super sweet forum member sent us a little package this week - yes, Laserrred38, Patrick. (Sorry if I wreck your persona by calling you "super sweet" lol).

I installed it the day it came, and now after a couple of days driving - I'm positive we have several things going on:

1. The car looks a lot better
2. The car is lighter
3. Better gas mileage due to loss of some weight
4. The car has gained at least 20 hp - much better throttle response

Who knew something so simple could turn out so great!

we put on the TMS window stickers/clings & git about 20 hp gain on my son's 89 5.0 now if I can only find that envelope to put on my windows.

 

You're very welcome. Now you can't say I didn't help you mod LOL that thing should've come standard on ALL the 10-14s, and it's so inexpensive, that everyone should go buy one. Seriously, Amazon Prime ftw! I ordered it Wednesday and it showed up, and was installed, on Friday. You can't beat that with a stick!

In all seriousness 20hp seems like a mild gain, shouldve gotten you at least 30 more to the wheels IMO. Pat mustve tweaked it...

 

Guess I'll have to round up some window clings too! I would have had Seahawks window clings on the car already, but the husband (49er fan...ugh) objected strongly, lol. Otherwise, I'd have about 50 more hp!

 

Absolutely can't beat that with a stick! I'll have to have Rod admire more stuff on your car....haha. Maybe pipes will show up or something, lol.

It's easy to be a philanthropist when you're sitting on a butt-deep pile of cash, Patrick; not so easy when you're a young guy starting out and supporting a family and a couple of hungry dogs. Just wait until you switch to rubberized floor mats, holy cow it's like a whole different car!

 

I especially liked the 5 MPG fuel efficiency improvement I got when I installed my Stubby.

 

Haha.....Between Mr. Stubby, Window Clings, and now rubberized floor mats, I must be + 75 hp and 10 miles to the gallon better fuel mileage! Thanks guys!
