I just got a quote from Grundy Collector Car Insurance, which is about 50% less than what I am now paying with Allstate. My '05 is strictly for pleasure use and I would like to save some money.

Does anyone have any good or bad experiences with this type of insurance?

Did you do the online quote, because I did and it gave me a quote for $350 a year but when I called to get insurance they told me that my car didn't qualify.

I talked to them over the phone and have the application ready to sign. However, some other companies like Hagerty would not insure something this new...

Just got off the phone with Grundy and they said they could only insure a late model Mustang if I had another car older than 1974 (antique or custom) insured with them also.
