The 2006 Ford Mustang Convertible will get a celebrity introduction at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January. American Idol runner-up Diana DeGarmo will be on hand in L.A. to launcht the vehicle as well as to perform a song from her new album, Blue Skies. The Georgia singer has already taken possession of her new Mustang, a black car with a custom pink stripe. Ford has sponsored American Idol since its debut season in June of 2002. And again this season, which starts January 18, the winner of the competition will get a new 2005 Ford vehicle.
