Camaro owner loves him some mustang
My brother brought down his 13' 1LE to visit us this week. It has been almost a year of bashing each other's cars (mines a 14 GT TP) and has been a lot of fun slinging poo at each other over the interweb. Only thing I have done so far is put a retardedly loud outlaw ab on mine. We planned on driving each other's car while he was here and I was surprised by his reaction. We did a slow turn onto the highway and then he tried to mash his right foot into the road from inside my car, small spin and then it grabs, he grabs second and it does the same, and third and forth (grudgingly I do admit he can drive). Ps we safely stayed below the speed limit at all times
But my biggest surprise is the holy **** I got out of him. He was blown away by how fast my car is. Said that there is no way he would have kept up because his would have spun through 3 rd and admitted if he would have tested my car out he probably would have bought it. Wish I would have taped it, cause he will never admit it in front of others.
I drove his car next and while I really enjoyed it, I feel way better in mine. He has tons of low end grunt and around the corners it is flat as a pancake, but as mine climbs through the revs it just keeps pulling and it feels like his flattens out a little bit, and even with the wider tires, it's tough not to get it to grab with heavy launches ( I'm no pro tho) with the 1LE. Since I don't track my car (a lot of evidence out there that the 1LE dances through the corners) I don't find anywhere that his car is better when streeting around. I don't know if this is even a forum topic that needs to be discussed, unless you really want to but I was just so pumped to get that kind of a reaction from a dir hard bow tie boy.
