Buying a Mustang 2005 from Ebay?

Hello all
First post here so hello to all reading.
I am after a Mineral Grey 2005 GT Automatic with IUP but of course no local dealers have one for me but I found one on ebay and it looks to be from a dealer in N America somewhere so I am keen on buying but can't travel up to see or test it.
The problem I have is I have my heart set on Mineral Grey but my dealer says to wait for the 2006's as he can't get any more 05's in now but from reading the Mineral Grey won't be rereleased as its going to be a Tungsten colour which I don't really want.
Couple of questions, first is ebay safe for things like this? Would you do the same thing or am I completly crazy! My stand on this is if the car isnt whats described in the ebay auction then it goes back!

I don't know, I personly won't buy something like a car online. But again people do it all the time with sums going up in the $40,000s or more. That's the reason I bought a 2004 from a frfiend, to save us $4,000 from the lame dealerships. so oit is really your call.
