Really? Never knew that. Guess that's why they're red.

And here on a few other threads guys have been hammering Chrysler claiming (incorrectly) it is controlled by the "Italians" - Fiat. (currently Fiat is only a minority owner with 20% as a joint venture, the rest by UAW, US & Canadian Govs/taxpayers).

While at the same time so many Mustang owners clamor over Italian Brembo brakes and pay up for Brembo Packages... and yet Brembo and Fiat also have 'joint ventures'.

JUNE 24, 2010, 9:48 A.M. ET
MILAN—Italian high-performance brakes maker Brembo SpA will open a research and development center at its new corporate headquarters near Detroit as part of a move into a new market segment, the company said Thursday.

Same here. Made my living selling espresso machines and Italia D'Oro syrups, etc. And I'd take a Fiat owned Ferrari though I'd prefer a Lotus...

Even married a full blooded Italian once, but that didn't work out so good... ended in a crash

Just took me by surprise...

Chef Boyardee is a brand of canned pasta products sold internationally by ConAgra Foods. Named after its founder, Italian-American immigrant Ettore Boiardi, the line began production in the United States in the 1920s. Along with its canned products, Chef Boyardee also markets boxed pizza and lasagna mixes.[1]

It's disturbing the places a thread can be taken by me here on TMS. At least this time it was G rated.

And like I said Walt. I hesitated myself and checked before hand. So even in my mind there was a chance he was French. Seems like maybe the character that played him on TV from my youth might have had a French accent, but I can't really recall correctly.

Whatever he is, he is.. I thought Boyardee had a nice French "ring" to it; like Peugeot or Renault...
