Best Compliment that you received on your car.
I was at a red light, felt like give it it a rev right next to a Jiffy Lube. This is what I heard from the mechanics talking to each other:
"What is that?"
"That's a 5.0"
"**** that sounds mean!"
"Rev it up!"
so then I gave them a nice rev.
Other time this guy was on the phone walking in the parking lot, I was driving in first around 3k rpm as i passed him he says:
"hold on dude, let me hear this sick 5.0"
"What is that?"

Wouldn't say it was more of a compliment but a funny story.
Met up with a dude to disc golf whose never seen my car before and didn't see me pull up since i arrived first. Well we finish the round and come back towards the cars and he's like "That mustang is sick!" so I kinda played along with him " Yeah man its pretty sweet"
We got closer I unlocked it and got something from the trunk and look back to him picking his jaw up off the ground lol. Was pretty funny.

I've only had my '70 for a little over a year. It is undergoing a major restoration right now. When I bought it, I had to trailer it from Omaha to NE Nebraska. It was in pretty rough shape to say the least. I stopped to fuel up, and it seemed that everyone else filling up, moseyed on over to ask about it. After giving the rundown on it, everyone wished me the best of luck to get her running and driving again. It has been a fun process so far.
Mine is an '09 Grabber Orange w/stripe delete. Ranges from "WOW!" to "That's too loud a color" Frequently heard while parked around a lot of Dark Blue ones. Personally, I think there are way too many DIB's in the world, but I always say "Sweet Ride"

Post pic let me see your ride
It's pretty cool when strangers come up and ask me to bring my car to their local car show
I had no idea how many little show n shines there are in the neighborhoods around me.

I've had a car full of teenagers pull up next to me and say they wanted to be me, that I'm the man and that they loved and wanted my car.
(I was saying in my head,...you can have my payments too!)

Of course they always want me to 'light em up' in the school zone. ya, no.
This was with my first Mustang:
Three pretty girls walk out of a restaurant just as I am pulling in. One of the girls goes nuts over the car and wants a ride. The other two girls remind her not to take rides from strangers. Blah blah..
She tells me to rev it up.
Long story short, she throws her bags at the other two girls and says "Hold my shlt!"

LOL, that's awesome! When i drive by the school near home a gaggle of kids always wave frantically at me and yell nice car. I think it's pretty cool when young uns appreciate the beauty of today's muscle cars.
