BBK Cold Air Intake review
Hey There,
I'm looking into getting a CAI, BBK is at the top of my list. Does anyone have this MOD? If so...how do you like it? I would greatly appreciate your input.
Cheers,
Andy

Gotcha, I am looking for info on a 2011 one. I will def take into account your review though of the 2000. I want to wait for K&N to release one but they are dragging @$$ with it and I don't know of I wanna wait much longer.

Well I had a CAI from K&N on my previous mustang which was a 2006 and once I put it on it was like driving a whole different car. I was really pleased with it. I have yet to take the dive with a tune.

BBK now makes one that does not need a tune with it with less RWHP but JLT and a tuner has one that is supposed to give an additional 34 RWHP. Bama also has a nice setup.

The BBK intake needs a tune, even if advertised not needing one. This is more true with the 2005-2010 than with the 2011, from my experience. However, if you have a 2011 and you bolt on the BBK CAI, you'll find that fuel trims need to be adjusted and some gas mileage will come back, and other symptoms will go away with a tune. The wide-open-throttle air/fuel ratio will adjust, as the car has factory wideband sensors, so it will "tune itself" so to speak at wide-open-throttle.
