Recently as of 21 November, 2014 I purchased as used 2007 Mustang GT from a car dealership. Today (Friday 12 December) being a relatively warm day I decided to go out and check over the engine for a bit cleanliness of oil etc. I then moved onto the standard Ford air box and found the Fram air filter quite dirty and a bunch of leaves filling the lower half of the air box. So much for the veracity of the dealer in checking over a used vehicle prior to sale.

 

Holy cow! How did all those leaves get in there? Nuts! I would head back to that dealer...a free oil change, new air filter, and tank of gas is in order.

 

Already billed them for a new starter motor and battery. $528.01.

 

Did the bird fly away before you snapped the picture?

 

I got the same response from the wife....she said squirrel though.

 

Had everything checked over this morning. Cabin filter is brand new which is amazing. All fluid levels are good.

 

I've never had leaves in my air box
Canadian Maple go big or go home lol

 

Had two big leaf maples in our backyard as a kid - fall was so fun! Huge mounds of leaves to dive into! Sorry - can't call them Canadian maples since I lived in WA state, lol.

 

sure you can they blow over & grow still a maple , just don't rake up and land mines

 

Dealerships Probably one of those "112 point inspections by our qualified techs" before each sale.

 

my first bring back to have the car looked at they tried to tell me that I didn't have a cabin filter �� took them out to show them where it was in fact located.
