Apparently, the other toys are jealous of the Mustang
Well, CRAP.
There are 3 motorcycles here, besides the Mustang. 2 Honda Goldwings, and a Honda Aero 1100.
My husband's Goldwing has been in the shop since June 26th....and is finally now getting the whole engine rebuilt (under warranty, thank God). So, in the mean time, he's been riding MY Goldwing to/from work, and so we bought the Aero 1100 as an occasional use 3rd bike for times when one of the others is in the shop because I hate being bikeless.
Well, my stator went out a couple of weeks ago on the Aero, so now it is dead. It goes to the shop tomorrow for a new stator, voltage regulator, and clutch while they are in there. Not under warranty, so cash out of pocket on this repair.
While I've been thinking about what we will do first (wheels, suspension, etc) on the Mustang, my husband backed out on my Goldwing this morning to go to work, and this is what was left behind:
Guess the other toys just do NOT want me spending any money on a Mustang, when I can be spending money on them.
What other toys do you all have that interfere with how quickly you have modded or will mod your Mustangs?
Damned bikes.

ducati and aprilia, but I sold the aprilia this summer because I couldn't justify 2 superbikes anymore. However the bikes took backseat to the car. My truck also, but it stays pretty much stock.

I never thought I would encounter all this crap having Hondas. They are generally really reliable.

We were pretty surprised by my husband's Goldwing, but then it has 130,000 miles on it - he rides it a lot. Well, he did....he should be getting it back in about a week, good as new we hope.
My Goldwing has 70,000 miles on it in 4 years, so I guess I ride a lot too. The good news is, hubs thinks he either didn't tighten the drain plug enough, or the oil filter. He just changed the oil. That will make me a SUPER happy camper if that is why it is leaking oil at the moment.
My Aero 1100, in it's defense, is a 98, and is 16 years old and I can't expect nothing to need replacing at that age, even on a Honda.
