While most of you are preferring stock over modified, I find if it is done right modified can be sweet. Modifications that are not natural looking or over done can make a car look ugly. done right they are sweet. I have done mods on my GTCS and I think you will find that it looks sweet. Also I believe that you have to be happy what you drive even if others do not like it.

For me, I like both looks. I appreciate and enjoy both looks. I think this thread is more of another perspective on mustangs. I like to do mods that deal mostly with how my car works. This forum and all the amazing looking modded cars can get you caught up in changing things you had no intent of changing. My buy list went nuts after i saw some pictures. It seems the stock exterior is the rare choice based on the pics here. I think this thread just wanted to highlight that the stock look can be done by choice, not just because of the price.

I like changes that are improvements to a car. I ordered with spoiler delete, no stripes, no non-functional louvers, no hood scoop, no flashy look-at-me stuff. Upgrading suspension or engine performance is the place to put the money. Make the car PERFORM different (better) rather than make the car LOOK different. Besides, the stock mustang is a **** nice looking car that can stand on its own performance-wise.
The beauty of the mustang is that its such a great canvas on which to express youself. There are no wrong mods, only those we personally like or not.

I kept the blue one that looks like a V6
Much more practical overall.

I modified my old car's suspension and engine but no appearance mods. Other than painted side skirts. To me my 13 gt is right where i want it to be with a couple small exceptions that i may never address. For appearance though this is one of the most personalized models in history. So i got black frpp wheels (which is in the stock arena really) and im thinking about stripes and maybe some rear quarter louvers. Nothing over the top.

Dude, I absolutely love the hood on your white stang. It's freaking sick looking and bad a$$. By far the best looking hood for a mustang in my opinion.

I've always been a 100% 'stock' owner and my two GM cars are that way, BUT the shaker hood installed on my GT/CS by the dealer (and prior owner) back in '07 was too nice to pass up. I just love the look. You can never say 'never'.
