2000 Cobra R #3 of 300

I would love to get my hands on car #1.

A little suspicious since the bumper cover on the pic in front of the house is from a 1999 or 2001 Cobra...

Thats normal Andy. If you notice on the front splitter, there are metal fasteners that allow you to easily remove the splitter. This keeps you from destroying it on city streets. When you have it removed, it is a 99/01 front bumper cover.

Thanks for the info Scott! It looks so seamless on the vehicle. I always thought that it was a single piece.

The 2000 R is certainly a stellar piece and this car has the pedigree to match...but $80K...

There's an explanation below for the 3.8 cylinder mistake. It's actually quite a frequent mistake with Ebay's system. There are a lot of holes in it.

First off, the VIN for this car is 1FAFP47H8YF222891. eBay doesn't recognize this since it's looking for a Cobra and there were no Cobra's sold in the US for 2000...except for the Cobra R!!! No, it's not a 6 cylinder car. It’s all muscle with the 5.4 L 4 valve and 6 speed manual transmission.
Here's the Carfax info on the vehicle

Report

It is an actual 5.4 Cobra R.
