'69 Mustang Vin location

I bought a '69 Mach 1 for $3000 ,which I thought and the guy I bought it from was a 351c car originally, when he gave me the title it turns out the car is a 428 scj drag pack car,the vin is stamped on the apron but it is not on the dash anywhere,it looks like a aftermarket dash.where is the vin plate located.

The vin tag should be on the drivers side corner of the dash area. You also have the door tag on the driver's side door. If I remember correctly, there is also a VIN stamped under/on one of the front fenders, you'd have to remove them to find it. It's been too long since I have been in the classic mustang scene so all this starts to get fuzzy. I'd be able to look on my 69 for you but it is in storage.

The VIN should be on the title paperwork of the car. Does it have a salvage title?

The Vin is on the left side of the dash. It is riveted to the metal panel, not the dash pad. Other option is to remove the left fender and it should be stamped there near the shock tower.

def not a " cleveland " car .. those came in 1970.. not sure where the vin # is ... my car is-was a simple sportsroof and knowing its heritage was never important to me as i built it the way i wanted it .. if you get no answer in a day or so i will look at my car and see where the vin # is.. but i think it is on the dash ...drivers side.. looking thru the windshield

I have a clear NJ title and the vin on it matches the vin stamped on the passenger fender skirt.there are two holes ender the dash pad where it looks like the vin plate should be by the instrument panel

How do you know it's a SCJ drag pack car? That info is not in the vin. An SCJ car could be either a "Q" or "R" code car, and must have had either a 3.91 "V" or 4.30 "W" code rear end to make it an SCJ. So unless you have the original door tag or a Marti or Eminger invoice, I'm a little fuzzy as to how you know it's a "Drag pack" car?

I have a deluxe Marti Report that I ordered when I got the car.it states the car is 63C T5 3A 09D 15 W 6, 428scj Drag Pack after 2/20/69 with a close ratio 4-speed 4.30 traction-lok
Is there any company that make reproduction Vin Plates for the winshield?
